High School Invitational

A look back at a past VGC event.

Join the VGC High School Invitational at the Pitman Center, University of Idaho, in Moscow on Friday, February 26, and Saturday, February 27, 2027.

Tentative schedule — subject to final registration and change. All times are Pacific Time. VGC takes place Saturday, February 27, 2027, and closes at 10pm. Friday, February 26, 4–10pm is reserved for high-school competition; community events begin no earlier than noon on Saturday.

Every high-school tournament entrant gets Saturday competition: each team or individual in the four high-school events continues into Saturday pool play or the all-entrant single-elimination bracket.

Our goal is a $5,000+ total high-school prize pool; that total is a fundraising goal, not a guaranteed payout. No prize amount has been announced for Street Fighter 6 or community events.

2027 high-school registration

Register your school

An adult coach, advisor, or chaperone should submit one registration per school. See the form for participation details and registration requirements.

Final tournament rules and check-in instructions will be announced. Teams must represent the same high school; all skill levels are welcome.

Do not enter tournaments with overlapping commitments. Smash crew battles and the late combined singles flight are deliberately staggered so eligible players can enter both, subject to the singles capacity limit.
