Community Events

Community gaming at a past VGC event
A look back at a past VGC event.

Tentative schedule — subject to final registration and change. All times are Pacific Time. VGC takes place Saturday, February 27, 2027, and closes at 10pm. Friday, February 26, 4–10pm is reserved for high-school competition; community events begin no earlier than noon on Saturday.

Explore the planned community lineup below. Registration details and any entry fees are coming soon; Clash Royale is free to enter.

2027 registration details coming soon. Follow our social channels for updates.

Do not enter tournaments with overlapping commitments. Smash crew battles and the late combined singles flight are deliberately staggered so eligible players can enter both, subject to the singles capacity limit.

Combined Smash Ultimate singles

64 entrants total, shared by high-school and community players

16 pools of four; best-of-three pool sets. The top two in each pool advance to one 32-player single-elimination bracket. Semifinals and final are best of five. Entry fee: to be announced.

The early flight is exclusively for 16 non-high-school entrants. All high-school singles entrants play in the late flight, alongside the remaining public entrants. This is one shared event, not separate high-school and community tournaments. Entry is capped at 64; additional interest may be waitlisted, with no expansion guaranteed.
